MacGyver gets caught up in an international incident when he meets a girl at an airport in Bulgaria who stole some jewelry from some security soldier. It just gets worse from there.
MacGyver meets a young woman named Penny Parker at an airport in Bulgaria. He has some microfilm he has to sneak out, which should be easy job, but Penny drops some jewels in his pocket. It turns out Penny took them from a high ranking officer and now MacGyver is up to his ears in an international incident that might expose his own espionage.
